Indorsement Claims

What do you do when your customer tells you that the payee of a paid check claims they never received the funds? What does the presenting bank’s UCC presentment warranty that they are “entitled to enforce” mean? What do you do when you, as a BOFD, receive a warranty breach claim? This session will review indorsements and the UCC presentment warranty and discuss how to resolve a potential warranty breach.
